Post suitable for: Current students, or prospective students, of the University of Winchester (N.B. must be a student who will be enrolled for the 2025-2026 academic year).

Hours: Expected average of 22 hours per week, 32 weeks of the year (semester time and some vacation weeks).

Rate of Pay: £13.68ph (inclusive of payment made in lieu of holiday)

 

Winchester Students' Union is currently seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking student with excellent organisational and administrative skills, to help provide administrative support for the Membership areas of the SU to improve the effectiveness of student representation, campaigns and projects across the Union’s Education Zone, Welfare Zone, Activities Zone and Union-Wide work.

APPLICATION DEADLINE

The deadline for completed applications is 9am, Wednesday 11th June 2025.

Applications received after the deadline will not normally be considered. Applications are automatically submitted on completion of the online application form. Depending on demand, applications may be considered and shortlisted as and when they are submitted.

 

SELECTION & INTERVIEWS

Selection will be based upon a brief interview and task with the line manager of the role you are applying for, alongside at least one other panel member. Interviews will take place on Monday 16th June 2025 (afternoon) and/or Wednesday 18th June 2025 (morning). If you have been selected for interview, we will contact you directly using the details supplied. Interviews will normally be conducted either in person or via Microsoft Teams. Please ensure that you enter correct contact details on your application form. Please note the short turnaround between applications closing and interview dates.

 

START DATE

This position is ideally required to start from late August / early September 2025, although some flexibility on start date may be considered.
